(1)Long Tailed Duck spotted first time in Kangra Pong Dam
In pong dam , increase in migratory birds was seen this year. Long Tailed duck was spotted first time in Kangra pong dam. Most increase in population of northern pintail. Northern pintail were reported 4665 lat year and this year 15,784 were reported.
(1) कांगड़ा पोंग बांध में पहली बार लंबी पूंछ वाली बत्तख देखी गई
पोंग डैम में इस साल प्रवासी पक्षियों की संख्या में इजाफा देखा गया है। कांगड़ा पौंग बांध में पहली बार लंबी पूंछ वाली बत्तख देखी गई। उत्तरी पिंटेल की जनसंख्या में सबसे अधिक वृद्धि। उत्तरी पिंटेल की रिपोर्ट 4665 अक्षांश वर्ष और इस वर्ष 15,784 दर्ज की गई।
(2) Class 1 officer under MUkhyamantri Baal Suposhan yojana has to adopt at least one anganbadi center.
Adopting Class 1 officer has to moniter development of children in the, adopted anganbadi center every month.
The programme will particularly focus on malnourished children and the officers will do the necessary work for improving their health and nutritional status.
Officer concerned has to participate in the concerned rituals like namkaran, annaprashan, birthdays and other community based events celebrated in the centre and encourage the children.
(2) मुख्यमंत्री बाल सुपोषण योजना के तहत प्रथम श्रेणी के अधिकारी को कम से कम एक आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र गोद लेना होगा।
कक्षा 1 के अधिकारी को गोद लेने वाले आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र में हर महीने बच्चों के विकास की निगरानी करनी होती है।
कार्यक्रम विशेष रूप से कुपोषित बच्चों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगा और अधिकारी उनके स्वास्थ्य और पोषण की स्थिति में सुधार के लिए आवश्यक कार्य करेंगे।
संबंधित अधिकारी को केंद्र में मनाए जाने वाले नामकरण, अन्नप्राशन, जन्मदिन और अन्य समुदाय आधारित कार्यक्रमों जैसे संबंधित अनुष्ठानों में भाग लेना होता है और बच्चों को प्रोत्साहित करना होता है।
(3) Bombay natural history society conducted the First bird census, in govind sagar lake
This survey was done during a comprehensive management plan for the conservation and protection of ecology in and around the lake.
This time 3,101 migratory birds of 41 species had landed in the lake area for the first time.
Different bird species like Bar headed geese , northern pintails , common pochard river tern , little commorant ,greater cormorant etc were reported.
(3) बॉम्बे नेचुरल हिस्ट्री सोसाइटी ने गोविंद सागर झील में पहली पक्षी जनगणना की
यह सर्वेक्षण झील में और उसके आसपास पारिस्थितिकी के संरक्षण और सुरक्षा के लिए एक व्यापक प्रबंधन योजना के दौरान किया गया था।
इस बार झील क्षेत्र में पहली बार 41 प्रजातियों के 3,101 प्रवासी पक्षी उतरे हैं।
विभिन्न पक्षी प्रजातियों जैसे बार हेडेड गीज़, नॉर्दर्न पिंटेल, कॉमन पोचार्ड रिवर टर्न, लिटिल कॉमोरेंट, ग्रेटर कॉर्मोरेंट आदि के बारे में बताया गया।
(4) Himachal’s first ecofriendly STP (Sewerage treatment plant ) to be constructed in Kullu
This is based on sequential batch reactor. The sewerage and drinking water schemes worth 369 crore rupees have been approved to connect the town and 7 panchayats in the suburbs of Manali city with sewer system.
In this ecofriendly STP the BOD will be 10 ppm as compared to others which have BOD 30ppm.
(4) कुल्लू में हिमाचल का पहला इको फ्रेंडली एसटीपी (सीवरेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट) बनाया जाएगा
यह अनुक्रमिक बैच रिएक्टर पर आधारित है। मनाली शहर के उपनगरों में कस्बे और 7 पंचायतों को सीवर सिस्टम से जोड़ने के लिए 369 करोड़ रुपये की सीवरेज और पेयजल योजनाओं को मंजूरी दी गई है।
इस पर्यावरण हितैषी एसटीपी में बीओडी 30 पीपीएम वाले अन्य एसटीपी की तुलना में 10 पीपीएम होगा।
(5) IIT Mandi have created artificial structure that can make stealth vehicles less visible to radar.
This material can absorb a wide range of radar frequencies , irrespective of the directions from where signals hit the target.
Radars are used for surveillance and navigation to detect and track aircraft , ships, ground vehicles, and movement with covert establishment, in defense sectors.
If vehicles will be invisible to radars , then it can be a crucial defense strategy and ability to evade radars detection can reduce chances of being targeted by enemy weapons.
This is based on the frequency selective surface that absorb a wide range of frequencies used in radars, which makes the surface invisible to radars.
It can absorb more than 90 % of radar waves in a wide range of frequencies.
(5) आईआईटी मंडी ने कृत्रिम संरचना बनाई है जो चोरी छिपे वाहनों को रडार से कम दिखाई दे सकती है।
यह सामग्री राडार आवृत्तियों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला को अवशोषित कर सकती है, भले ही उस दिशा से ध्यान दिए बिना जहां से संकेत लक्ष्य को हिट करते हैं।

(6) U-WIN PORTAL
U-WIN portal has started in solan and sirmaur. Vaccination should be implemented through U-WIN portal. It will give complete information about maternal and child vaccination in the state. This has been developed in the lines of COWIN portal. Complete information about vaccination from time to time after birth of child will be available there.
This will be linked directly to labour room so the correct and accurate information is available.
(6) यू-विन पोर्टल
यू-विन पोर्टल सोलन और सिरमौर में शुरू हो गया है। टीकाकरण को यू-विन पोर्टल के माध्यम से लागू किया जाए। यह राज्य में मातृ एवं शिशु टीकाकरण के बारे में पूरी जानकारी देगा। इसे COWIN पोर्टल की तर्ज पर विकसित किया गया है। वहां बच्चे के जन्म के बाद समय-समय पर टीकाकरण की पूरी जानकारी उपलब्ध होगी।
इसे सीधे लेबर रूम से जोड़ा जाएगा ताकि सही और सटीक जानकारी मिल सके।
(7) Himachal Pradesh state transport department has become first to switch over to electrical vehicles.
It is adopting go green approach , so all the official petrol and diesel vehicles has been changed to electrical.
It will minimize cost of transportation. So unnecessary expenditure on petroleum product will be cut.
(7) हिमाचल प्रदेश राज्य परिवहन विभाग विद्युत वाहनों को अपनाने वाला पहला राज्य बन गया है।
यह गो ग्रीन दृष्टिकोण अपना रहा है, इसलिए सभी आधिकारिक पेट्रोल और डीजल वाहनों को विद्युत में बदल दिया गया है।
यह परिवहन की लागत को कम करेगा। इसलिए पेट्रोलियम उत्पाद पर होने वाले अनावश्यक खर्च में कटौती की जाएगी।
(8) T.B Champion –
T.B champion are the People who has been recovered from T.B. They will get 5 – 8 thousand honourium. They will boost the morale of T.B patients.
(8) टीबी चैंपियन –
T.B चैंपियन वे लोग हैं जो T.B से ठीक हो चुके हैं। इन्हें 5-8 हजार मानदेय मिलेगा। वे टीबी के मरीजों का मनोबल बढ़ाएंगे।
(9) Gastritis outbreak in Nadaun
Open defeacation and unscientific mining are responsible for gastritis outbreak in the area.
Sum of 1 crore approved for the IPH department to immediately set up treatment plant of various water supply projects in the affected area.
(9) नादौन में जठरशोथ का प्रकोप
क्षेत्र में जठरशोथ के प्रकोप के लिए खुले में शौच और अवैज्ञानिक खनन जिम्मेदार हैं।
प्रभावित क्षेत्र में विभिन्न जलापूर्ति परियोजनाओं का ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट तत्काल स्थापित करने के लिए सिंचाई एवं जन स्वास्थ्य विभाग को एक करोड़ की राशि स्वीकृत।
(10) Important persons in news
(1) Raman Raghuvanshi – He wrote Antriksh song for Azadi satellite developed by ISRO. He belongs from chanlag village district sirmaur.
It will give accurate information about weather.
(2) Dr Randeep Guleria – Has been appointed as President of AIIMS.
He is first Indian to get a directorate of medicine in pulmonary and critical care medicine .
He was conferred with B.C Roy award in 2014 and Padam shree in 2015.
(3) Rama Thakur – First woman in the country to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro , the highest peak in Africa. She belongs from shuru village , Manali ,Kullu.
(4) Mukesh Dhiman – He displayed Kangra miniature paintings at an exhibition in Frankfurt city of Germany . He belongs from Pathiar village in Kangra.
(5) Shiv Pratap Shukla – New governor of Himachal Pradesh .
(10) समाचारों में महत्वपूर्ण व्यक्ति
(1) रमन रघुवंशी – उन्होंने इसरो द्वारा विकसित आज़ादी उपग्रह के लिए अंतरिक्ष गीत लिखा। वह चानलग गांव जिला सिरमौर के रहने वाले हैं।
यह मौसम की सटीक जानकारी देगा।
(2) डॉ. रणदीप गुलेरिया – एम्स के अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किए गए हैं।
वह पल्मोनरी और क्रिटिकल केयर मेडिसिन में मेडिसिन निदेशालय पाने वाले पहले भारतीय हैं।
उन्हें 2014 में बीसी रॉय पुरस्कार और 2015 में पदम श्री से सम्मानित किया गया था।
(3) रमा ठाकुर – अफ्रीका की सबसे ऊंची चोटी माउंट किलिमंजारो को फतह करने वाली देश की पहली महिला। वह शूरू गांव, मनाली, कुल्लू से है।
(4) मुकेश धीमान – उन्होंने जर्मनी के फ्रैंकफर्ट शहर में एक प्रदर्शनी में कांगड़ा लघु चित्रों का प्रदर्शन किया। वह कांगड़ा के पथियार गांव के रहने वाले हैं।
(5) शिव प्रताप शुक्ल – हिमाचल प्रदेश के नए राज्यपाल।

- Thakur Ved Ram National Awards
Why in news?
These awards were announced by national awards selection committee at Bhuttico in Kullu district.
These awards would be held in 21,April 2023.
It wil mark the 103th birth anniversary of Bhuticco founder.
These awards are given each year to peoples who have special contributions in the field of literature,art, language, culture ,journalism , cooperative societies , handicraft and handloom.
Bhuttico – Intially in 1944, 12 handloom weavers registered Handloom weavers cooperative. But till 1955 it remained dormant. In 1956 Thakur Ved Ram joined it , since then it is flourishing to new heights.

ख़बरों में क्यों?
कुल्लू जिले के भुट्टिको में राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार चयन समिति द्वारा इन पुरस्कारों की घोषणा की गई।
ये पुरस्कार 21, अप्रैल 2023 में आयोजित किए जाएंगे।
यह भुटिक्को के संस्थापक की 103वीं जयंती को चिह्नित करेगा।
ये पुरस्कार प्रत्येक वर्ष साहित्य, कला, भाषा, संस्कृति, पत्रकारिता, सहकारी समितियों, हस्तकला और हथकरघा के क्षेत्र में विशेष योगदान देने वाले लोगों को दिए जाते हैं।
भुट्टिको – शुरुआत में 1944 में, 12 हथकरघा बुनकरों ने हथकरघा बुनकर सहकारी समिति का पंजीकरण कराया। लेकिन 1955 तक यह निष्क्रिय रहा। 1956 में ठाकुर वेद राम इसमें शामिल हुए, तब से यह नई ऊंचाइयों पर फल-फूल रहा है।
(2) Sakhi scheme –
Why in news?
In chamba district , since 2021, 42 womens got help from sakhi scheme.
This scheme is implemented by Ministry of women and child developement for addressing the problem of violence against women.
This is subscheme of umbrella scheme for national mission for empowerment of women including indira gandhi matritav sahyog yojana.
Under this scheme one stop center facillity will be given to women.
In one stop center facillity , there will be emergency response and rescue services , medical assistance , assistance to women in lodging FIR, shelter etc.
Funding – 100 % funding to all state and UT from centre through Nirbhaya Fund.
(2) सखी योजना –
ख़बरों में क्यों?
चंबा जिले में 2021 से अब तक 42 महिलाओं को सखी योजना से मदद मिली है।
यह योजना महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा की समस्या को दूर करने के लिए महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा लागू की गई है।
यह इंदिरा गांधी मातृत्व सहयोग योजना सहित महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण के लिए राष्ट्रीय मिशन की छत्र योजना की उप-योजना है।
इस योजना के तहत महिलाओं को वन स्टॉप सेंटर की सुविधा दी जाएगी।
वन स्टॉप सेंटर सुविधा में आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया और बचाव सेवाएं, चिकित्सा सहायता, प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराने में महिलाओं की सहायता, आश्रय आदि की सुविधा होगी।
फंडिंग – निर्भया फंड के माध्यम से केंद्र से सभी राज्य और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को 100% फंडिंग।
(3). First 24×7 DD Himachal channel for Himachal Pradesh
Union minister for information and bradcasting (I&B) Anurag Thakur launched 24×7 channel for himachal pradesh.
It will promote state art ,culture and heritage.
It will also have programs on state freedom fighters , also boost tourism .
(3) हिमाचल प्रदेश के लिए पहला 24×7 डीडी हिमाचल चैनल
केंद्रीय सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री (I&B) अनुराग ठाकुर ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के लिए 24×7 चैनल लॉन्च किया।
यह राज्य कला, संस्कृति और विरासत को बढ़ावा देगा।
इसमें राज्य के स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों पर भी कार्यक्रम होंगे, पर्यटन को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
(4) Best state award and GSP gold partner award by centre
Himachal under green school programme bagged best state award and GSP gold partner award by centre for science and environment New Delhi.
Solan bagged best district award . Govt senior secondary school Himgiri chamba best in land section award.
2 teachers were aso selected for GSP ambassador award.
HIMCOSTE- HP council for science and technology and environment as a nodal agency has established 3000 eco clubs in school and 100 colleges under National green corps.
It will provide oppurtunities to the school children to redirect their consiousness and actions to create more sustainable planet.
It is also implementing plastic waste buy back scheme through 100 eco club school.
Eco club school under green himachal clean himachal campaign has led to plantation of about 26,106 plants of various species.
(4) केंद्र द्वारा सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य पुरस्कार और जीएसपी गोल्ड पार्टनर पुरस्कार
ग्रीन स्कूल कार्यक्रम के तहत हिमाचल ने विज्ञान और पर्यावरण केंद्र नई दिल्ली द्वारा सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य पुरस्कार और जीएसपी गोल्ड पार्टनर पुरस्कार जीता।
सोलन को मिला बेस्ट डिस्ट्रिक्ट अवॉर्ड शासकीय सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल हिमगिरी चंबा को बेस्ट इन लैंड सेक्शन अवार्ड।
जीएसपी एंबेसडर पुरस्कार के लिए दो शिक्षकों का भी चयन किया गया।
हिमकॉस्ट – हिमाचल प्रदेश विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी एवं पर्यावरण परिषद ने एक नोडल एजेंसी के रूप में राष्ट्रीय हरित वाहिनी के तहत स्कूलों में 3000 ईको क्लब और 100 कॉलेजों की स्थापना की है।
यह स्कूली बच्चों को अधिक टिकाऊ ग्रह बनाने के लिए उनकी चेतना और कार्यों को पुनर्निर्देशित करने के अवसर प्रदान करेगा।
यह 100 ईको क्लब स्कूल के माध्यम से प्लास्टिक वेस्ट बाय बैक स्कीम भी लागू कर रहा है।
हरित हिमाचल स्वच्छ हिमाचल अभियान के तहत ईको क्लब स्कूल द्वारा विभिन्न प्रजातियों के लगभग 26,106 पौधे रोपे गए |
(5) Kangra’s wool has been certified organic by Uttrakhand state seeds and organic production certification agency for sale in national and international markets.
Gaddi shephards from Kangra( Palampur, Baijnath and Multhan ) will now got 20 % high prices as govt’s wool federation of Himachal pradesh offers them .
Shepherds will sell wool to indian companies which in return will export to europe and U.S.A.
(5) कांगड़ा की ऊन को राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारों में बिक्री के लिए उत्तराखंड राज्य के बीज और जैविक उत्पादन प्रमाणन एजेंसी द्वारा जैविक प्रमाणित किया गया है।
कांगड़ा (पालमपुर, बैजनाथ और मुल्तान) के गद्दी चरवाहों को अब 20% अधिक कीमत मिलेगी क्योंकि हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार का ऊन संघ उन्हें प्रदान करता है।
चरवाहे भारतीय कंपनियों को ऊन बेचेंगे जो बदले में यूरोप और यू.एस.ए. को निर्यात करेंगी।
(6) Not On map H20 House won sustainable accommodation of the year award.
This house is in chamba committed towards sustainability . It is preserving the local culture and use of the renewable energy sources and waste reduction efforts.
It won this award at 30th edition of south asia’s travel and tourism exchange program.
(6) मानचित्र पर नहीं एच20 हाउस ने वर्ष के स्थायी आवास का पुरस्कार जीता।
यह घर चंबा में स्थिरता के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। यह स्थानीय संस्कृति और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा स्रोतों के उपयोग और अपशिष्ट में कमी के प्रयासों का संरक्षण कर रहा है।
इसने दक्षिण एशिया के यात्रा और पर्यटन विनिमय कार्यक्रम के 30वें संस्करण में यह पुरस्कार जीता।
(7) Chamba got 11 crore from NITI Ayog
As a part of NITI Ayog led aspirational district program (launched in 2018 , to transform districts that have shown lesser progress in key social areas.
NITI Ayog appreciated chamba’s efforts in institutional delivery, also eradication of malnutrition among women and children.
(7) चंबा को नीति आयोग से 11 करोड़ मिले
नीति आयोग के नेतृत्व वाले आकांक्षी जिला कार्यक्रम (2018 में शुरू किया गया था) के एक भाग के रूप में, उन जिलों को बदलने के लिए जिन्होंने प्रमुख सामाजिक क्षेत्रों में कम प्रगति दिखाई है।
नीति आयोग ने संस्थागत प्रसव, महिलाओं और बच्चों में कुपोषण के उन्मूलन में चंबा के प्रयासों की सराहना की।
(8) Him Vic ( vigilance investigation checklist ) – app launched by CM Sukhu to ensure proper monitoring of the progress of investigation .
(8) हिम विक (सतर्कता जांच जांच सूची) – जांच की प्रगति की उचित निगरानी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सीएम सुक्खू द्वारा लॉन्च किया गया ऐप।
(9) 300 years old natural drinking water source in the heart of Palampur town in Himachal’s Kangra has been declared non – potable.
It was found highly contaminated and the irrigation and public health department has put a signboard mentioning “unfit for consumption” next to tank.
(9) हिमाचल के कांगड़ा के पालमपुर शहर के बीचोबीच 300 साल पुराने प्राकृतिक पेयजल स्रोत को गैर पीने योग्य घोषित कर दिया गया है।
यह अत्यधिक दूषित पाया गया था और सिंचाई और जन स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने टैंक के बगल में “उपभोग के लिए अनुपयुक्त” का उल्लेख करते हुए एक साइनबोर्ड लगाया है।

Why in news ?
Fagli festival was celebrated in tirthan valley located in Kullu.
Tirthan valley is also famous for Great Himalayan national park.

कुल्लू स्थित तीर्थन घाटी में फगली पर्व मनाया गया।
तीर्थन घाटी ग्रेट हिमालयन नेशनल पार्क के लिए भी प्रसिद्ध है।
(11) Himachal’s first and only govt run de addiction centre for women is in Bhuntar. It is becoming very beneficial for women there , so was in news.
(11) महिलाओं के लिए हिमाचल का पहला और एकमात्र सरकार द्वारा संचालित नशामुक्ति केंद्र भुंतर में है। वहां की महिलाओं के लिए यह काफी फायदेमंद हो रहा है, ऐसा खबरों में भी था।
(12) Akanksha bagged bronze medal in National Taekwondo championship held in Nasik belongs fro Jandaru, Hamirpur District.
(12) आकांक्षा ने जिला हमीरपुर के जंडारू से नासिक में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय ताइक्वांडो प्रतियोगिता में कांस्य पदक जीता।
