1) Piplu fair- 3 days, district level Piplu fair was started recently in piplu village una .

2) New chief justice of Himachal Pradesh high court – Justice Mamidanna Satya Ratna Sri Ramchandra Rao was sworn in as the chief justice of Himachal Pradesh high court .

3) Interpretation centre at Sainj Valley, Great Himalayan national park.
This interpretation centre will give information about the flora and fauna found in great Himalayan national park at Sainj Ropa.
- Its focus will be on orchids and medicinal plants , along with birds and beautiful locations.
- Great Himalayan national park is located in Kullu district. All the four symbols are found in this National park.
- About 10 % of the wild population of western tragopan is found in this Park.
- This centre will be useful for visitors, including school and college students who come here for nature walk and awareness programme.
– GHNP was constituted in 1984, formally notified in 1999.It was awarded UNESCO world heritage site in 2014. It is spread across four valley i.e. parvati valley, jiva nal valley, tirthan valley, and sainj valley.
4) Vehicle inspection centre of 16 crore to come up in Baddi
– To allow only mechanically fit vehicles a vehicle inspection and certification centre is proposed at Baddi.

5) Chamb dance was performed to celebrate birthday of Guru Padamsambhava
– Chamba dance or lama dance is Tibetan traditional dance which is performed in Himalayas. This is generally performed in region where budhism is prospered. These areas are ladakh,Sikkim,lahaul and spiti, Kinnaur, Dharamshala, Bhutan and Tibet.

7) 500 crore budget proposal sent for promotion of eco tourism.
– Lahaul and spiti saw huge increase in tourist influx after opening of Atal Tunnel.
– So, 500 crore budget has been sent for centre to develop areas in lahaul and spiti for tourism
– There are many places in lahaul spiti which have huge potential to be tourism spot e.g Miyar valley ,Thanpatan area , Tandi sangam etc.
– Arunachal Pradesh which is also known as ‘Land of the dawn lit mountains‘ ‘s tourism model will be adopted.
– People of lahaul spiti are opposing imposition of TCP act 1977 in the area.
– They said it violates PESA act , 1996. PESA act 1996, gives special powers to the gram sabhas in the scheduled areas specially for the management of natural resources. To protect tribals from exploitation with an active involvement of gram sabha.
– Recently govt said that all the construction activity with in the Atal Tunnel planning area will have to be taken in accordance with provisions of TCP act, 1977. This was done to prevent unregulated growth there.
8) Department of agriculture has set a target to bring 30,000 acres under natural farming.
– Prakritik kheti khushhal yojana has been started since 2018-19.
– There are 1.71,063 lakh farmers who are practicing natural farming.
– Under this scheme the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers is being discouraged.
9) The Sadbhavana cases legacy resolution scheme , 2023 was approved by the state cabinet on march 1st 2023.
– Objective is to resolve approximately 50,000 cases involving pre-goods and services tax such as value added tax and central sales tax etc.
– First such scheme was started in January 2020 and second in 2021.
– Under this scheme, taxpayers can settlr their unpaid taxes and discharge any other legal obligations .
– After the GST was implemented in 2017, many taxpayers still struggle to resolve their pre GST issues.
10) Shanan Power house can generate 200 crore revenue annually.
– Capacity 110 MW.
– Shanan power house is located in jogindernagar mandi district. This was commissioned in 1932. It was build under a lease of 99 years between Raja Jogindersen of then Mandi state and engineerCol BC Batty in 1932.
– This lease period is expiring on ,arch 2, 2024. Himachal government do not want to extend it, and sent a proposal to central govt to hand over this to himachal govt.
– Due to lack of maintainance , this is in deplorable condition.
11) MOU will be signed between himachal government and Asian development bank .
– Total cost of project – 1292 crore
– 1030 crore will be spent by asian development bank and 262 crore will be spent by Himachal government.
– It will be implemented in 2 phases . In phase 1 it will be implemented in 7 districts,mandi,solan,sirmaur,una,hamirpur,kangra,bilaspur.
– For phase 1, 257 clusters have been identified,in 4000 hectare. Here under one crop one cluster orange,litchi,guava, mango etc will be planted.
– 15,000 farmers will be directly benefitted.

2) हिमाचल प्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय के नए मुख्य न्यायाधीश – न्यायमूर्ति मामिदन्ना सत्य रत्न श्री रामचंद्र राव ने हिमाचल प्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ ली।

3) सैंज घाटी, ग्रेट हिमालयन राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में व्याख्या केंद्र।
यह व्याख्या केंद्र सैंज रोपा में महान हिमालयी राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में पाए जाने वाले वनस्पतियों और जीवों के बारे में जानकारी देगा।
– इसका फोकस ऑर्किड और औषधीय पौधों के साथ-साथ पक्षियों और खूबसूरत लोकेशंस पर होगा।
– ग्रेट हिमालयन नेशनल पार्क कुल्लू जिले में स्थित है। इस राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में चारों प्रतीक पाए जाते हैं।
– इस पार्क में पश्चिमी ट्रैगोपन की जंगली आबादी का लगभग 10% पाया जाता है।
– यह केंद्र आगंतुकों के लिए उपयोगी होगा, जिसमें स्कूल और कॉलेज के छात्र भी शामिल हैं, जो यहां नेचर वॉक और जागरूकता कार्यक्रम के लिए आते हैं।
– GHNP का गठन 1984 में किया गया था, औपचारिक रूप से 1999 में अधिसूचित किया गया था। इसे 2014 में यूनेस्को की विश्व विरासत स्थल से सम्मानित किया गया था। यह चार घाटी में फैला हुआ है, अर्थात् पार्वती घाटी, जीवा नाल घाटी, तीर्थन घाटी और सैंज घाटी।
4) बद्दी में 16 करोड़ से वाहन निरीक्षण केंद्र बनेगा
– केवल यांत्रिक रूप से फिट वाहनों को अनुमति देने के लिए बद्दी में एक वाहन निरीक्षण और प्रमाणन केंद्र प्रस्तावित है।
– राज्य में “ग्रीन कॉरिडोर” राजमार्गों का भी विचार।
– केलांग को इलेक्ट्रिक बस चार्जिंग स्टेशन मिला। केलांग में दो इलेक्ट्रिक बसें तैनात हैं।
5) गुरु पदमसंभव का जन्मदिन मनाने के लिए छंब नृत्य किया जाता था
– चंबा नृत्य या लामा नृत्य तिब्बती पारंपरिक नृत्य है जो हिमालय में किया जाता है। यह आमतौर पर उस क्षेत्र में किया जाता है जहां बौद्ध धर्म समृद्ध है। ये क्षेत्र हैं लद्दाख, सिक्किम, लाहौल और स्पीति, किन्नौर, धर्मशाला, भूटान और तिब्बत।
6) शूलिनी विश्वविद्यालय ने अनुकरणीय अनुसंधान के लिए रैंक 2 स्थान हासिल किया है
– एजुकेशन वर्ल्ड ग्रैंड जूरी इंडिया हायर एजुकेशन रैंकिंग 2023-24 ने शूलिनी यूनिवर्सिटी को अनुकरणीय शोध की श्रेणी में दूसरा स्थान दिलाने की घोषणा की है।

7) ईको टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 500 करोड़ का बजट प्रस्ताव भेजा गया।
– अटल टनल के खुलने के बाद लाहौल और स्पीति में पर्यटकों की आमद में भारी वृद्धि देखी गई।
– इसलिए लाहौल और स्पीति के क्षेत्रों को पर्यटन के लिए विकसित करने के लिए केंद्र को 500 करोड़ का बजट भेजा गया है
– लाहौल स्पीति में ऐसे कई स्थान हैं जहां पर्यटन स्थल बनने की अपार संभावनाएं हैं जैसे मियार घाटी, थानपाटन क्षेत्र, तांडी संगम आदि।
– अरुणाचल प्रदेश जिसे ‘सुबह जगमगाते पहाड़ों की भूमि’ भी कहा जाता है, के पर्यटन मॉडल को अपनाया जाएगा।
– लाहौल स्पीति के लोग क्षेत्र में टीसीपी अधिनियम 1977 लागू करने का विरोध कर रहे हैं।
– उन्होंने कहा कि यह पेसा अधिनियम, 1996 का उल्लंघन करता है। पेसा अधिनियम 1996, अनुसूचित क्षेत्रों में ग्राम सभाओं को विशेष रूप से प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के प्रबंधन के लिए विशेष अधिकार देता है। ग्राम सभा की सक्रिय भागीदारी के साथ आदिवासियों को शोषण से बचाने के लिए।
– हाल ही में सरकार ने कहा कि अटल टनल योजना क्षेत्र में सभी निर्माण गतिविधियों को टीसीपी अधिनियम, 1977 के प्रावधानों के अनुसार लेना होगा। ऐसा वहां अनियमित विकास को रोकने के लिए किया गया था।
8) कृषि विभाग ने 30,000 एकड़ को प्राकृतिक खेती के तहत लाने का लक्ष्य रखा है।
– प्राकृतिक खेती खुशहाल योजना 2018-19 से शुरू की गई है।
– 1.71,063 लाख किसान ऐसे हैं जो प्राकृतिक खेती कर रहे हैं।
– इस योजना के तहत रासायनिक कीटनाशकों और उर्वरकों के प्रयोग को हतोत्साहित किया जा रहा है।
9) सद्भावना मामलों की विरासत संकल्प योजना, 2023 को 1 मार्च 2023 को राज्य मंत्रिमंडल द्वारा अनुमोदित किया गया था।
– उद्देश्य पूर्व-माल और सेवा कर जैसे मूल्य वर्धित कर और केंद्रीय बिक्री कर आदि से जुड़े लगभग 50,000 मामलों को हल करना है।
– इस तरह की पहली योजना जनवरी 2020 और दूसरी 2021 में शुरू की गई थी।
– इस योजना के तहत, करदाता अपने भुगतान न किए गए करों का निपटान कर सकते हैं और किसी भी अन्य कानूनी दायित्वों का निर्वहन कर सकते हैं।
– 2017 में जीएसटी लागू होने के बाद, कई करदाता अभी भी अपने पूर्व जीएसटी मुद्दों को हल करने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहे हैं।
10) शानन पावर हाउस सालाना 200 करोड़ का राजस्व उत्पन्न कर सकता है।
– क्षमता 110 मेगावाट।
– शानन बिजलीघर जोगिंदरनगर मंडी जिले में स्थित है। इसे 1932 में कमीशन किया गया था। इसका निर्माण 1932 में तत्कालीन मंडी राज्य के राजा जोगिंडरसेन और इंजीनियर कर्नल बीसी बैटी के बीच 99 साल के पट्टे के तहत किया गया था।
– यह पट्टे की अवधि 2 मार्च, 2024 को समाप्त हो रही है। हिमाचल सरकार इसे बढ़ाना नहीं चाहती है, और इसे हिमाचल सरकार को सौंपने के लिए केंद्र सरकार को एक प्रस्ताव भेजा है।
– देखरेख के अभाव में यह जर्जर स्थिति में है।
11) हिमाचल सरकार और एशियाई विकास बैंक के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाएंगे।
– परियोजना की कुल लागत- 1292 करोड़
– 1030 करोड़ एशियन डेवलपमेंट बैंक और 262 करोड़ हिमाचल सरकार खर्च करेगी।
– इसे 2 चरणों में लागू किया जाएगा। पहले चरण में इसे 7 जिलों मंडी, सोलन, सिरमौर, ऊना, हमीरपुर, कांगड़ा, बिलासपुर में लागू किया जाएगा।
– पहले चरण के लिए 4000 हेक्टेयर में 257 क्लस्टर चिन्हित किए गए हैं। यहां एक फसल के तहत एक क्लस्टर संतरा, लीची, अमरूद, आम आदि लगाए जाएंगे।
– 15,000 किसानों को सीधा फायदा होगा।
